The 2024 Relentless Award Celebration

On October 21st, 2024, a celebration and reading in honor of The 2024 Relentless Award-Winner, Dave Harris and his play MANAKIN, was held at Theatre Row. See the full list of winners and honored playwrights here.

Guests enjoyed an excerpt reading of the winning play, MANAKIN, directed by Taylor Reynolds and featuring Ronald Peet, Marisa Tomei, Shannon Tyo, and Jeorge Bennett Watson.

​

Laura Linney gave a moving remembrance of Philip Seymour Hoffman, for whom the Relentless Award is dedicated, and Selection Committee Member Lucy Thurber spoke about why this year's judges love MANAKIN.

​

The evening closed with a lively afterparty at BEA.
